Summary:The story that I just was reading was based on a man that just could not stop smoking cigarettes, So he needed some help so he could stop smoking. Because he knew that by him being old and smoking that he was killing him self.

Reaction: This was a story that I just didnt understand, Becaue it had little details...

Only In The Peace Crops 4/22/2009

Summary: The story that I just was reading was about a young girl that just could not calm down because she felt that she didnt have enough time to do what she had to do because she was so impatient and determined to taste some broccoli. And was trying to teach to become better at the things she do.

Reaction: This story was a kind of funny story, Because she didnt know how to manage her time right. And she was trying to be a little teacher to some of the people.

Chapter:4 4/7/2009

Summary: This chapter was telling us that Kino was about to sell the pearl but they were not trying to give him the amount of pesos he wanted. So he didnt sell the pearl to no one. So he buried it in the ground, I guess for safe keeping. But his own brother Juan Tomas was afraid for his brother life which is Kino.

Reaction: This was a good chapter, But it really didnt have a good ending to it.

Chapter 3 of The Pearl 3/6/2009

Summary: This chapter was based on a man named Kino finds a pearl in the sea, & his baby needs some kind of medicane because bite by spider. The doctor that he had went to had wanted the pearl from him beacuse it looked like its worth alot of money. So everybody finds out that Kino has a pearl an they want it from him.

Reaction: I think this was a kind of good chapter of the story.

The Pearl Chapter 2 4/3/2009

Summary: The storwey is about a man that got a canoe, the one valuable thing he owns Kino's father and grandfather had handed it down to him. The canoe is very old and vaulable, & he got a song which he is ver proud about. So one day Kino went to the sea an dived in it and found a pearl that was worth the world at his time.

Reaction: It was a very good story, But its just that I could'nt get into it like I wanted to.

The Pearl Resource 4/2/2009

Summary: The story was about a women waking up feeling good about her husband, So she cooked him breakfast and What she normally do in the morning with and for her family. She cook, clean, & work hard for her family.

Reaction:I like the story because sometimes a female needs to work hard, & give the man of the house a break.

April Fool 4-1-2009

Summary: See what had happen was that we went into class, Mr. Watford told us to pick up our things because we were goin to the gym. So everybody picked up their things and went to the gym, So he waited right in tell we got into a conversation with our friends. . .& then said APRIL FOOL! Everybody come on lets go back to class.

Reaction: I could not be mad, Because it was just a big jock. Its APRIL FOOL!!!!

Short Story 4-1-2009

Summary:Short Story means to refers to a work of fiction that is usually written in prose, usually in narrative format. Many short story writers define their work through a combination of creative, personal expression and artistic integrity.

Reaction: I like short story, Because I dont like to read all that stuff that dont belong in the story. I would rather for them to just shortin it out, & get straight to what they want to talk about.
